There is a social insurance office, Two banks, medical centre and dentists, welfare office, two stores that carry most things for daily needs, Two gas stations, a couple of restaurants, a kiosk with postal service and betting office. one hardware store, a garage, one boutique for mostly women ware, several hair salons, white goods store, several shops for sporting goods, fishing-gear and bicycles, sewing goods a sports centre with a 20 meter pool and a gym. A fire station, a trade school, a youth-centre,  a well kept beach, there are also several churches and a snowmobile club and a lot more, but these are the things we usually get questions about...
